The Bristol County Jail and House of Correction is
a brand new facility of almost 180,000 square
feet, including the Sheriff's Office, a Court, Secure Correctional
Facilities at all levels of security and a
Pre-Release Housing Component. Designed to replace the outmoded Jail and
House of Correction in New Bedford, the new Bristol
County Jail and House of Correction in New
Bedford, the new Bristol County Jail and House of Correction is a
handsome and modern facility containing all
the administrative, housing, educational, recreational and support
components to serve both pre-trial detainees and
convicts at all level of security.
DiMarinisi & Wolfe served as a consulting
architect on this project and provided programming verification services
for the entire facility and architectural design for the Pre-Release
Housing Component. |
