Public
Safety Facilities Study
Barre, MA
DiMarinisi
& Wolfe has been hired by the Town of Barre to conduct a
comprehensive study of its public safety building needs, including
facilities for the Fire Department, Police Department and B.E.A.R.S.,
which is Barre's emergency medical service.
As part of
the study services, DiMarinisi & Wolfe has programmed the long-range
facility requirements for each public safety department,
reviewed renovation and expansion options at the existing public safety
facility sites, assessed potential sites for a new central public
safety facility to accommodate the police,
main fire station and B.E.A.R.S., assessed site options for a new fire
substation to serve the southern section of
the town, developed schematic designs for all of the various options
(central facility, additions / renovations and
substation), prepared construction cost estimates for
each of the options and advised the Town of advantages and disadvantages
of each scheme.
The results
of the Study are being used by the Town in its long-range capital
facility planning. |
